Anbefalinger (Recommendations)

Omvendt skrev professor Jørn Henrik Petersen selv hele anbefalingen.

To Whom It May Concern
July, 2007
Letter of Recommendation for Camilla Karlsen,
As the chief sub-editor at Nyhedsavisen[1] I have had the pleasure of hiring Camilla as sub-editor. She was hired on September 1st 2006 and at her own request her employment was terminated on February 23.th 2007.
Camilla has been an important part of establishing Nyhedsavisen. She has taken part in the process since the very beginning, and at the editorial office she has helped her colleges feel confident with the techniques necessary for the newspaper’s tabloid format. Two weeks after the launch of Nyhedsavisen, Camilla also became the travelling editor, and she was put in charge of buying freelance articles for the weekly travelling supplement and editing the articles. Camilla’s tasks have among others been:
- Editing articles for the editorial offices for local news, sport, culture and world.
- Developing ideas with- and coaching of journalists.
- Contact to external journalists about buying freelance articles and to canvassers responsible for the travelling advertisements.
During Camilla’s employment she has shown a high level of independent and efficient work, and I believe her leadership abilities will become even more developed and effective in the future. Here I would like to mention, that Camilla is accurate in her research and pays attention to the details.
I have gotten to know Camilla as an obliging person full of initiative and willing to take on new responsibilities, so it was with deep regret that I informed my staff members about her resignation from Nyhedsavisen. Never the less it is an outstanding ambition that she now seeks new challenges abroad, and I will not hesitate to offer high recommendations for Camilla. Camilla has my full support and my deep personal respect, and she will be a valuable addition to your program. If you have any questions regarding this recommendation, please do not hesitate to send an e-mail or call me.
Sincerely,
Kasper Haugaard
Chief sub-editor, Nyhedsavisen
[1] Nyhedsavisen is a new newspaper in Denmark; launched on October 6th 2006, and is handed out for free in practically the entire nation. Dagsbrún Media, the largest media company in Island, is the cooperation behind Nyhedsavisen, and the paper’s launch in Denmark has caused revolutionary changes at the Danish market for media production. The ambition of Nyhedsavisen is to compete with the traditional morning-newspapers and therefore Nyhedsavisen prioritizes self produced journalism instead of buying from news agencies.
